(June 4, 2021) Today, LA-based Alt-Pop artist Alt Bloom releases the music video for his track “Fly Away,” premiering exclusively on Wonderland. Keeping in line with Alt Bloom’s passion for merging his two biggest loves — music and nature — the music video for “Fly Away” showcases Alt Bloom with close friends and family, as well as candid moments during a photoshoot with Montana-based renowned photographer Alex Strohl, in and around his hometown of Whitefish, Montana.
If you’ve been itching to get away in a post-pandemic world, let Ethan Thompson (aka Alt Bloom) take you on a cinematic road trip. In what could double as a travel & nature special, the “Fly Away” music video is a vivid glimpse into some of the places, both indoor and outdoor, that Ethan values most. Taking his Jeep, 1982 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle, and a few friends, Ethan chases euphoria through exploring the great outdoors with those he loves and takes a moment to appreciate what the world has to offer.
With his ability to invoke positivity and enthusiasm through every new song, “Fly Away” is an uplifting ode to the moments where we all need to break free. The track was produced by Grammy Award Winner, Oak Felder, best known for his work with Lizzo, John Legend, Alessia Cara and more.
Giving the whimsical and free-spirited Peter Pan a nod, on the chorus Alt Bloom sings “I’m one of the lost boys now/Too young to break/Too old to bow/And I mean it when I say/This world is gonna change/I’m one of the lost boys now.” Speaking on the track, Alt Bloom states “‘Fly Away’ is one of those songs that was written line by line,” Alt Bloom states. “Each line was a reflection on something in my life. It sings down like a fable to me now, and I derive different truths from it whenever I perform it.”
